DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES…

Local Advocate for Business:
The Mason County Growth Alliance will act as a business advocate on behalf of a private business with City, County or Township agencies, as needed. We conduct a full-time pro-active business retention program, play a leadership role and serve as a liaison with local, regional and state organizations.

Business Assistance:
The Growth Alliance can assist manufacturers and high technology firms in applying for tax relief on construction or new equipment investments. The Growth Alliance can support the development of business related projects including assisting in the submission of grant and loan applications for infrastructure development.

Sites & Brownfield Redevelopment:
For businesses looking for a new location, we can confidentially find a selection of sites in Mason County for you to choose from and provide detailed information on each. The County’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority offers financial and tax incentives to businesses for cleaning up and redeveloping contaminated and obsolete sites within the County. The Brownfield Redevelopment Authority also maintains an inventory of brownfield sites and can apply for State and Federal grants and loans to fund redevelopment efforts on brownfield properties.
