This month, we revealed our new web design for international, award-winning interior design firm Kay Green Design, Inc. The Orlando-based designer wanted the feel of their website to be elegant, professional and reflect their national reputation. The minute they visit the site, visitors should know that the full-service merchandiser helps sell/lease homes through its sophisticated interior designs.
To accomplish these goals, we made each photo of Kay Green’s stunning designs the focal point. On the homepage, rotating images showcase the best that Kay Green has to offer, and the Design Portfolio features photos of the company’s projects for model home merchandising, multi-family housing, clubhouse designs, sales center designs and residential interior designs. Site designer and programmer Johanne Courtright chose subtle, grey background colors to make each image pop from the screen.
Functionality was a key factor, too. Visitors simply select from a top navigation menu to browse images in Kay Green’s Design Portfolio, how the company’s designs can increase home sales, the history of the company, Kay Green’s unyielding mission and more.
Here’s what the homepage looked like before…
… and after.
