The second annual Maryland International Film Festival (MDIFF) is just a month away, so our brand strategy team put together this unique flyer to celebrate the event and encourage the public to attend. Power Marketing is a proud sponsor of the festival, which encourages independent filmmakers to engage audiences, collaborate and network with other filmmakers, and educate the community about their films. Communications Specialist Krista Scarlett wrote the copy announcing the schedule, pricing and sponsors, and Lead Designer Amanda Linthicum created the graphic design md.
If you’ll be in the Hagerstown area April 11-13, then consider attending the MDIFF. A number of local, national and international filmmakers will showcase their films and participate in Q&As. Visitors will get the chance to watch these films, talk to the filmmakers and support independent artists whose passions come to life on the big screen.
The festival’s headliner, author and former American CIA operative Tony Mendez, will be there to screen the Oscar-winning film “Argo,” directed by and starring Ben Affleck. The film is based on the true story of Mendez’ rescue of six U.S. diplomats during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis.
